Single Sign-On

No more remembering another username and password. You can now sign into the Hub with your organization-provided account – Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, AWS, and more! Just tap, tap, and you’re in.

New Plan for Personal and Family Sites

As much as we believe dedicated, VPS hosting is the only way to go with WordPress, we understand that some people really don’t need that much power. Our new MWP Cloud Shared plan provides a more cost-effective solution for smaller sites – personal blogs and family sites. All MWP Cloud Shared plans will support our FamilyPress plugin and our super power suite. If you’re interested in being first on this new plan, reach out to our Accounts team.

MWP Cloud Shared plans will start at $2.50/month, with a bit more power for just $5/month – coming early 2022

Custom Merchandise with Fulfillment

WooCommerce-enabled web stores can now add Printful for automatic production and fulfillment of custom-branded merchandise! What’s more – Printful will even act as a warehouse for custom produced goods. Reach out to our Development team if you’d like to integrate WooCommerce + Printful on your site.

Share Private Drafts

A long requested feature is now being released – the ability to share draft posts before publishing. Once activated, you and your editors will be able to share draft posts/pages with members of your team, without requiring them to log in or publish the content for public viewing. To activate this feature, please reach out to our Development team.

Auto-Publish, To and From

Another frequently requested feature is the ability to automatically post to and from WordPress. We’re launching this new feature with three supported platforms – Mailchimp, YouTube, and Google My Business.

Auto-Publish TO Google My Business

All of your WordPress posts can be automatically shared to Google My Business without having to log in and post through Google’s app or website. This functionality will significantly boost your search ranking, and also serve as a verification that your listing belongs to you.

Auto-Publish FROM YouTube

Just shared a new video on YouTube and want your website subscribers to hear about it? Any new videos are automatically posted to your primary new feed/blog, with filters for categories coming soon!

Auto-Publish FROM Mailchimp

Send your email campaigns and sit back while your website works hard in the background. Any email campaign sent from Mailchimp will be added to your blog feed, with filters and categories coming soon! Limited to clients and partners with “Beamer” activated.

Improved Monthly Reports

Monthly website “health” reports can now be sent to any individual in your organization, not just the account owner. Our newly-updated reports now include all the essential WooCommerce data to keep tabs on your online sales and interactions. Monthly reports can be managed from the Hub under Websites > Reports.

Canva Integration – coming early December

Want to spruce up your latest WordPress post? Now you’ll be able to link your Canva account (and brand folder!) with Managed WordPress, letting you embed and edit content directly in Gutenberg! All of your brand assets and custom designs can be embedded directly into the content, and editing is just a click away.

Canva support can be enabled from the Hub, available early-December for the following site plans…

Pickup Day Scheduling – v1.3 (Web)

Pantry managers can now set up Pickup Days in advance – allowing customers to see upcoming availability in case they miss their order deadline.

Supported plans: MyChoice Basic, Advanced, Ultimate

Mass-Notify via Email, In-App Messaging – v1.3 (Web)

Send a notification to all or a selected group of clients. Options include sending over email, in-app notifications, or both! Once enabled, you’ll be able to send mass notifications through the manager dashboard.

Inventory Management – v1.4 (Web, iOS)

True inventory management has made its way to MyChoice! Scan barcodes to jump to a specific product and update inventory. Or use NFC tags to open a whole shelf and modify inventory for all products on it. More information coming soon – planned for release as an update to 1.3 shortly after release.

*MyChoice for iOS will be released early 2022 and does not support self-hosted sites or the “Basic” plan.

PantryPress on Self-Hosted Sites

Our PantryPress plugin is getting closer and closer to release, meaning you can manage your pantry and integrate MyChoice with your existing WordPress website. We’re currently testing this with clients on MWP Cloud, but the self-hosted plugin will be available to demo and deploy early-2022.

Coming Soon – MyChoice on iOS!!

Yes, that’s right… We’re getting closer to the release of MyChoice for iOS, iPadOS, and macOS. Coming soon the the Apple App Store, MyChoice (iOS) will allow for true in-app notifications across Apple’s platforms. On the horizon are even more integrations such as Apple Wallet for order pickup and identification, iBeacon support for inventory, oh… and INVENTORY management, complete with barcode scanning!!

Auto-Publish to WordPress

Our new Auto-Publish feature in Managed WordPress will pick up your latest email campaigns from Mailchimp, then seamlessly publish to your WordPress blog feed. Filters and categories coming soon – available to clients and partners with an active “Beamer” address in place.

Google My Business

The “Google My Business” service is now a part of Google Workspace. This allows any business or organization to claim and update their Google Business listing. What’s even cooler is our new GMB integration for WordPress – any new posts added to your blog or news feed can be automatically shared to GMB, which boosts your search ranking significantly! Get in touch with our Development team to enable and activate this feature.

New Drive integration with Managed WordPress Cloud

We brought you single sign-on, now we’re putting it in Drive… pun intended. Just like our new Canva integration, you can now access Google Drive files and images directly in your MWP website. All you need to do is add the Drive block to your content and select the file or image you’d like to embed. Even easier – Drive is now integrated in the WordPress media library, allowing you to permanently import assets to your site for use wherever you’d like.

Drive links update, from Google

Google’s Drive link updates are now complete. Please note that if you didn’t opt-out, any documents or folders you’ve shared in the past (over email or through the Share button), you’ll need to re-share in order for your recipients to access that content. This change was implemented by Google over the last four months, and our team is ready to assist and clarify any changes you need to address.

Canva Pro – Free for nonprofits!

One of the driving factors behind our new Canva partnership was being able to provide free licenses to registered nonprofit organizations. Our teams have been trained and are ready to apply for Canva Pro for Nonprofits on your organization’s behalf, similar to how we handle Google Workspace. Our teams will serve as a liaison between your organization and Canva’s nonprofit registration department, so you’ll have less to worry about and more features to power your marketing efforts.

Integration with Managed Cloud

You’ll now be able to use and embed Canva designs directly in your website content and Mailchimp campaigns! No secondary sign-in, no opening a new browser window, and no more hunting for brand assets. Canva serves as you asset manager, allowing you to create and share amazing designs without any additional work.

Made in Sturbridge

For the last year and a half, we’ve been talking to our fellow business owners here in good old Sturbridge, Massachusetts about a program to highlight and ultimately support local merchants and their teams. We’re proud to announce the official launch of “Made in Sturbridge,” a community to promote and advertise on behalf of local businesses producing, crafting, developing, or selling in our home town.

The Nonprofit Development Fund

Just in time for Giving Tuesday, our new Nonprofit Development Fund (NDF) will allow donations to directly support the development and management of websites and cloud services for local nonprofit organizations.

Here’s the catch, fund distrubution is determined by our community – organizations can apply to receive grants, and your project will be listed on our website. Community members will vote on projects, with the winners receiving priority support. Not to leave anyone in the dust, our team has committed to working on the remaining projects in our free time, so everyone will benefit in the end.
