SMTP Alternative

Google has announced that on May 30, 2022, Gmail will no longer support basic authentication for sending mail through SMTP. As all WordPress-based websites need to send mail, this is urgent for any sites relying on Gmail without proper API setup. Such setup will require manual configuration.
